Pratt Show 2013

The jury is not yet out, but I believe there is plenty of great work at this years Pratt Show! It will be the culmination of my past two years at Pratt and I’d love to see some familiar faces. If not just to celebrate my work (ha!), drink and be merry with me in a room full of other talented young people. :) See you there on Tuesday, May 7th.

P.S. The AOS department is usually shoved somewhere in the back right.
Yes, we are small, but not forgotten!

P.S.S. Young designers (and my very best colleagues and friends) Nham Wongpradu and Christopher J.H. Lee will be there beside me!

DDB   |   http://ddb.com

” The 91st Art Directors Club Annual This book is an extension of the “keep fighting the good fight” campaign, which pokes fun at the industry while celebrating the best of the year’s creative achievements. Designed at DDB New York, Creative Direction: Matt Eastwood & Menno Kluin, Art Direction: Carlos Wigle, Copywriter: Aron Fried, Book Design: Juan Carlos Pagan & Brian Gartside, Illustrations: Rami Niemi.”

At DDB we are guided by playbooks, not rule books. Rigid methodologies minimize creativity. Paint-by-numbers gets you the same painting every time. That is not to say we do not have tried and true approaches to building and growing world class brands – we do. But rather than share our methodologies, we rather you spend time on the rest of this site and take a look at examples of our work, peruse some of our thinking, participate in our debates and discussions – basically get to know who we are.

My toes are scraped up a bit from walking around in the rain in leather wedged shoes on Saturday. Here, I’m indoors on a sunny and beautiful Sunday looking at the light filtering through my blinds. I should have switched the order. Then again, I met the sweetest pup in a mobile adoption Van and I would have never met her had it not been for our cold and wet walk.
